Information you send us
When you use the Request a Quote form, we collect what you enter:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it
- Your ship-to city, state and ZIP code
- The products, stock numbers and quantities you list, and any notes about your vehicle or equipment
- Your consent to be contacted about the request, and the date and time it was sent
If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share in that message or call.
How we use it
- To respond to your quote request or question by email or phone
- If you decide to place an order, to help set up that order with AMSOIL INC.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you
Sending a quote request does not sign you up for a mailing list or newsletter, and you will not receive an automated reply. We do not sell or rent your information.
Who else handles it
- Website host and form processing. This site and its forms are hosted by Netlify, Inc. Form submissions are stored in our Netlify account and forwarded to our business email so we can reply.
- AMSOIL INC. If you choose to order, the details needed to fulfill the order (such as your name, shipping address and the products ordered) are provided to AMSOIL INC., which processes and ships orders. Orders placed in the online store or on amsoil.com are covered by AMSOIL INC.’s own privacy policy.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law.
Site analytics and outside content
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, and browser and device type. It does not receive what you type into the quote form. The Independent AMSOIL Dealer badge at the top of each page is loaded from amsoil.com. Links to the online store, product guides and lookups take you to AMSOIL INC. websites, which have their own privacy policies.
You can limit cookies through your browser settings, or use Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and related messages only as long as needed to respond to you, handle any order you place, and keep normal business records. Spam submissions are deleted.
